What Are the Benefits?

Setting up a custom asset domain for your CDN offers two key advantages:

SEO Enhancement - Having a custom domain that hosts your images ensures that search engines treat your content as part of your domain. This can positively impact SEO by associating image traffic and backlinks with your main site.
Brand Consistency - With a custom domain, your images will appear to be served directly from your site, rather than the Agility CDN domain.

How to Set It Up

Follow these steps to configure a custom domain for your CDN assets:

Contact Us - Reach out to your Customer Success Manager (CSM) with the custom domain you’d like to use.
Configuration on Our End - We’ll make the necessary configurations to link the custom domain on our side.
Set Up Your CNAME - You’ll need to configure a CNAME record in your DNS settings to point your custom domain to the Agility CDN.
Verification - Ensure that everything is working correctly by testing your custom domain for asset delivery.

Once configured, the custom domain will work alongside the default Agility asset domain, allowing both to function interchangeably.
